George is now in heaven & will be deeply missed. God bless You George!
Hi, my name is Chris. In September of 2008 I moved to Florida to live with family for a while and was lucky enough to meet Georgiana the family cat. She is the most loving, cuddly, & sweetest cat I have ever had the pleasure of befriending. In the past several months we have become very close. She is/was like a member of my family. She gives me kisses, cuddles, & sleeps with me at night. I don’t know what I would/will do without her. George has been on this earth for a long time for a cat but is not well. She has medical problems and soon it will be time for her to go back home. No matter what your religion or belief one thing I think we all will have in common is that we all meet in the end somehow or come back around in some way. Some day George & I will meet again in one way or another. Be it in another life or another plain, George & I will cuddle again someday. I will miss her, I will think of her, & I will cry for her. Some may say, “She is just a cat what do you care?” or “It is not like she is a person, what’s the big deal?” Well, she is one of God’s creatures just like me. And as far as I am concerned, she is a person as well. Cats ARE people to. Today George is with me, lying on the bed looking over at me while I write. But in just days she will only be here in spirit. They say that writing your feelings down helps to deal with the pain, well, we’ll see about that. Anything is worth a try. Right?
